# Brand Subjects

> Add recurring characters, products, mascots, and locations for consistent image generation.

Brand subjects are recurring visual elements that appear across your content — characters, mascots, products, objects, or locations. Once defined, they can be composited into any generated image for visual consistency.

## Subject Types

| Type | Description | Example |
| ------------- | -------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------- |
| **Character** | A human or humanoid figure representing your brand | A friendly support agent |
| **Mascot** | A brand mascot or illustrated character | An owl with glasses |
| **Product** | A physical product for product photography | A software box, a device |
| **Object** | A recurring prop or visual element | A branded coffee mug, a toolkit |
| **Location** | A branded environment or setting | Your office lobby, a conference stage |

## Creating Brand Subjects

Navigate to **Library → Image Styles → Subjects** tab to manage brand subjects.

Each subject includes:

* **Name and type** — Identifier and category
* **Description** — Detailed visual description for the AI
* **Reference images** — Uploaded photos or illustrations of the subject
* **Scale guidance** — How large the subject should appear in images (small, medium, large, full)

## Compositing Modes

Brand subjects use two compositing approaches depending on type:

### Subject Mode (Character, Mascot, Product, Object)

1. AI generates a scene based on the content context
2. The subject is composited into the scene using image editing
3. The reference images guide the AI on the subject's appearance

### Location Mode

1. The reference image IS the base — it's used as the background
2. AI applies style-transfer to match your image style settings
3. Additional elements can be composited into the location

## Vision Analysis

When you upload reference images, the AI analyzes them to extract:

* Identity profile (distinguishing features, colors, proportions)
* Optimal placement and scale recommendations
* Style compatibility notes

This analysis is used automatically during image generation.
