The Nurture Attribution report shows how your email sequences contribute to pipeline and revenue — connecting the dots from email engagement through to closed deals. Nurture performance data is collected nightly as part of WisePilot’s automated sync. The system matches outbound messages from HighLevel to your sequence steps using content fingerprinting, then tracks replies, appointments, and conversions per step. Daily snapshots are built at both the step level and aggregate level for trend analysis. Navigate to Reports → Nurture to access this report.

Sequence Overview

The default view shows all active nurture sequences with their key metrics:
ColumnDescription
Sequence NameThe nurture sequence
Leads EnteredHow many contacts entered this sequence
Open Rate% of emails opened (averaged across all steps)
Click Rate% of emails that received a click
Reply Rate% of emails that got a reply
ConversionsContacts who completed a conversion goal
Pipeline ValueTotal pipeline attributed to leads in this sequence

Step-by-Step Breakdown

Click into any sequence to see per-step performance:
  • Step 1 — Welcome email: 65% open rate, 12% click rate
  • Step 2 — Value email (Day 3): 45% open rate, 8% click rate
  • Step 3 — Case study (Day 7): 38% open rate, 6% click rate
  • Step 4 — CTA push (Day 10): 32% open rate, 4% click rate, 3 conversions
This shows exactly where leads disengage. If open rates drop sharply between steps 2 and 3, the timing or content of step 3 needs work. If click rates are low but open rates are fine, the email content is being read but the CTA isn’t compelling.

Drop-Off Analysis

The funnel visualization shows the attrition at each step:
  • EnteredEngagedClickedConverted
  • Each transition shows the percentage that continued
  • Large drop-offs are highlighted for attention

Filtering

Filter the report by:
  • Sequence — Focus on a specific nurture flow
  • ICP segment — See how different audiences respond to the same sequence
  • Time period — Compare performance across months or quarters
  • Conversion type — Filter by booking, demo request, or form submission

Interpreting Results

Healthy sequence indicators:
  • Open rates above 30% across all steps
  • Click rates above 3% on CTA-focused steps
  • Less than 20% drop-off between consecutive steps
  • Conversion rate of 5–15% for leads who complete the sequence
Warning signs:
  • Steep drop-off after step 1 — subject lines are working but content isn’t delivering
  • High opens but low clicks — email content is engaging but CTAs are weak
  • No conversions from a specific ICP — the sequence may not address their pain points

Taking Action

  • Low open rates → Test subject lines. Generate variations with the Email Campaigns tool.
  • Low click rates → Strengthen the CTA. Check CTA Performance for winning button text.
  • High drop-off at a specific step → Rewrite that email or adjust timing.
  • ICP mismatch → Create ICP-specific sequences with targeted messaging from your angles library.
