Before You Start

  • You need Admin or Owner role on the website
  • The Google account you connect must have management access to the GBP listing
  • GBP uses a separate connection from GA4/GSC — you can use a different Google account if needed

Connecting

  1. Navigate to Integrations → Google Business Profile
  2. Click Connect Google Account
  3. Sign in with the Google account that manages your business listing
  4. Select your location — If your account manages multiple locations, pick the one for this website
  5. Click Confirm — Data sync begins immediately
Multi-location businesses can connect different locations to different websites within the same agency. Each website gets one GBP location.

What Gets Synced

Data syncs automatically every hour:

Connection Health

If the connection loses access (e.g., Google token expires), WisePilot will attempt to refresh automatically. After 3 consecutive failures, the connection is marked as disconnected and you will see a prompt to reconnect. You can check connection status anytime at Integrations → Google Business Profile.

Disconnecting

  1. Go to Integrations → Google Business Profile
  2. Click Disconnect
  3. Historical data is retained but no new data will be synced
